It is my greatest pleasure to welcome you to Hours of Fun and I hope you enjoy your visit.

Who is Hours of Fun?

My name is Rachel and my mission is to bring crafts to all ages, inspiring creativity and imagination, whilst baking all things delicious.
Hours of Fun is all about crafting and baking. I love to share all the things I make in the hope it may inspire others to have a go. I also love to see amazing creations made by others so please share any pictures you have of things you have made. Please get in touch with any questions or crafting puzzles you need help on.

The back story…..

I started out in 2011 traveling around the North West selling handmade delights and crafting goodies at craft fairs, this then moved on to running mini craft workshops at these events…….I then held some independent workshops and teamed up with some amazing groups to run craft sessions and offered craft party sessions. Alongside this I was taking orders for celebration cakes. It was a fun and busy time as I was also working part time and still making sure I had time for my family and friends.
In 2016 we sold our house and had to pack up everything for a few months whilst we found our new home. This meant my business was on hold and it allowed me time to re-think what I wanted to do. We are now in our amazing forever home and I work 2 part time jobs which I love. I have made the decision not to throw myself back into business as I am happy with my life-work balance (and running a business takes up a lot of time!).
Instead I am getting back to basics – baking anything I fancy and trying new things (as we have a new amazing kitchen!) and using my amazing craft room full of things waiting to be made. I am enjoying trying my hand at DIY with ym husband and helping meet our budget by doing things ourselves and making furniture and accessories. Next on my list to learn – furniture restoration.
